Message Assuming you have an ECU upgrade..(otherwise why are you using an EBC?)

If you have and ECU that retained secondary safety maps, you will still enter safety boost, and less agressive timing and fuel mixture will be used. Im not going to get into the debate of whos ECU is better regarding the use of the secondary maps or not, and the safety of pulling timing with out lowering boost, and all that crap. There is plenty on tt.net about it already.

If youre clever, you can use the boost control solenoid circuits to control the power to your EBC solenoid, and still retain safety boost. Wont work with a chip that keeps all maps the same though.

If your good enough, youll hear your motor detonating, and youll get off the pedal.
